By defeating the Serbians in the Semifinals and will go for the Gold medal in Bejing 2008.  After winning 2 Silver medal himself, Terry Schroeder will coach the team in the Gold Medal Round.  Hungary, who has now won back to back gold medals will defend their title against the 9th ranked US mens team.   The last gold medal for the USA Mens Water Polo Team was 1904.
