Terry Schroeder was born in Santa Barbara, CA and attended San Marcos High School. To date one of his biggest moment in the sport, Schroeder said, was being named All-American for San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara, CA. After graduation, he attended Pepperdine University where he earned All-American honors playing water polo in 1977, 1978 and 1980.
